This Election is “Do or Die” for Congress: A K Antony

Cochi: Veteran Congress leader A K Antony referred to the upcoming Lok Sabha elections as a “Do or Die” moment for India’s existence. He expressed willingness to campaign for UDF candidates, even against his son, who is contesting for the BJP in Pathanamthitta.

Antony emphasized that his involvement would depend on his health. His son’s move to BJP led to a contest against sitting UDF MP Anto Antony and LDF’s T M Thomas Isaac, with Prime Minister Narendra Modi campaigning for Anil.

Antony, retired from active politics due to age-related reasons, hinted at participating in Congress’s campaign from KPCC office. He stressed the significance of the election, critiquing BJP’s ideology. After years in national politics, the 83-year-old leader now resides in Thiruvananthapuram.
